I'm part of the Mac's Classic Pubs family!
A McMullen pub since 1957, the Angels is just a hop, skip and jump from Butts Lane park, and a few moments away from the bustle of the town centre.
Here you’ll find traditional British classics, including a divine Sunday roast, fresh sour dough pizza, and tasty nibbles to complement popular wines, world beers, locally brewed ales and fresh coffee.

Private Hire, Birthdays and Events
Both our dining section and private function space are available for private hire. We cater for formal dining events, buffets, drinks and nibbles or just drinks, whatever you prefer.
We can seat up to 30 guests for dining, or 40 for less formal events.
