The Millstream joins the Chicken & Grill concept.
McMullen & Sons, the independent Hertfordshire pub operator and brewer since 1827, is delighted to announce that The Millstream, Cambridge Rd, Hitchin is to become the latest and 11th pub to join the Chicken & Grill concept. The Millstream is now closed for an extensive refurbishment with plans to re-open in late June 2015, offering freshly roasted rotisserie chicken, chargrilled meats and ribs, whipped ice cream sundaes and other traditional pub comforts.
Full table service will be offered, whether you’re eating or just enjoying a drink, amazing when you consider that food prices range from £5.25 for a simple freshly baked Montana flatbread sandwich, to the heartier Chicken & Steak Combo at £10.55, or the delicious Goat’s Cheese Bruschetta (V) at £6.95.
The team will provide locally crafted real ales alongside worldly wines and credible coffee, all enjoyed in sumptuous surroundings with free Wi-Fi for those guests on a working lunch.
