Nag’s Head, Covent Garden
Located right at the heart of London’s Covent Garden, opposite the London Underground tube, the Nag’s has been a McMullen pub since 1927. A public house called The Nag’s Head has occupied 10 James Street since at least the 1670s. The current building is an example of Neo-Jacobean pub architecture (P. E. Pilditch) and was erected in 1900 being one of the 30 plus listed buildings in the Covent Garden area.
Make sure to visit our iconic pub on your way to or from the eclectic shops of Covent Garden. Enjoy a tasty lunch, stunning evening meal, or after work drinks. With our upstairs dining area, downstairs pub, and outside seating, there’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy a pint.

Our Sapphire Room has stylish décor, an exclusive bar and a stunning view of Covent Garden. Whether it is a corporate event, product launch, birthday party or a dining reception, the Sapphire Room can be entirely privatised and the layout can be arranged to suit you. This room can seat up to 70 guests, or up to 120 for a less formal event.
For smaller events, our Conference Room is the perfect space to host your morning meetings, video screening, networking, conference or business reception. With a sliding door, the room can be closed off for privacy with easy access to the main dining room if necessary. The room is equipped with a projector, sound system and WiFi and the layout can be arranged to suit you. This room can hold up to 20 guests, with 18 seated.
