Orange Tree, Sawbridgeworth

I'm part of the Independently Run Pub family!

Food Served Parking Wheelchair Accessible Garden or outside area

An award winning food pub and a McMullen pub since 1901, the Orange Tree was formerly known as the Three Horseshoes.

It seems that back in the distant past, pub names were either in short supply or publicans were very unimaginative – because Sawbridgeworth had two local pubs with confusingly similar names. So we changed ours to the rather more appealing Orange Tree – visit our website for the whole story behind the change of name!

Utterly foodie, without losing our real pub values of informality and comfort – delicious meat cuts, firm favourites with a twist and seriously special Sunday serving slow-cooked roasts accompanied by hand-crafted local ales, carefully selected and personally tested fine wines and world beers.

Eat and drink alfresco, weather permitting and ‘little ones’ are more than welcome!

The team look forward to seeing you soon.
