Prince of Wales
A McMullen pub since 1874.
Despite having been burnt to the ground twice by 1902, the Prince of Wales still has roaring fires to greet you – albeit now with a few additional fire extinguishers!
Drink, dine and relax – alfresco in our huge, luscious, green garden when weather permits – or inside by the fire. Groups are most welcome to book the private dining room.
You can also look forward to regular entertainment, frequently changing specials, delightful meat cuts, glorious Sunday roasts, as well as wines specially selected by us for you, locally brewed ales, world beers and the kind of coffee you just can’t make at home.

Our restaurant can hold up to 100 guests, and part of the bar area is also available for private hire which can hold around 60 guests.
For smaller events, we also have a small area in our main bar that holds up to 30 guests.
